A Triumph for Shadowcat Films :  details

Posted by Pat Edwards.

What a treat we all enjoyed in the Village Hall on the 6th of February.

"To The Border Bred" is a triumph, and the best film made about the iconic Border Collie and their Shepherds, and all set in our wonderful wild and beautiful landscape.
It is a film that is guaranteed to stir all the emotions. You laugh, you cry (well I did), you oww and ahhh, and you are amazed at the bond between dog and shepherd, I have seen the film a number of times now, and at the end, I always feel uplifted. Who will ever forget the lovely American gentleman Rob Merritt, talking about his Father, still filled with emotion and sadness regarding how he died in that plane crash on the Cheviot, but so glad he came over and met John Dagg's son who he keeps in contact with.

Congratulations to all involved at Shadowcat Films. You have produced a truly inspiring, and fantastic film.
Thank you for showing this film on the big screen, and enabling all who came along to Kirknewton to enjoy a great experience.
