OCTOBER 12th - Anna Turnbull will be teaching traditional round frames and some 'boat shaped' variations. Anna will bring some pre-made frames, available for a small additional charge, but show you how to make hoops, set shapes ready for weaving and prepare ribs.

NOVEMBER 9th - Paula Constantine will be exploring different techniques to create a seasonal sculpture for the house or garden. Maybe a Reindeer, or a bird, or come with ideas of your own.

MARCH 8th 2015 - John Galloway will bring some glorious dyed willow and teach us to make round baskets with a ready-made structure so that weaving of the sides can be started immediately and the border put down in the session. Extras, such as handles (rope, rigid or finger-holes) are an option for the more quick weavers. There will be opportunity to make a shaped basket or a straight cylinder, using a choice of weaves.

Etal Basketmaking Group meet on a Sunday each month from !0.00am - 4.00pm in the Etal Village Hall. From time to time beginners classes or a taught session are organised, but most sessions are run on a self-help basis.
